The very first I had was a TI-something my dad brought home from work. It was just a keyboard with a tape player, and hooked up to our basement TV.
After that, I hit it big time with an Apple //c - banging out BASIC programs, PrintShop banners (good luck having the banners not tear apart) and BankStreetWriter "documents."
What were your 80s computer memories? ADAM? (I wanted one because it came with a modem.) PC Jr? Timex Sinclair?

Good call. I failed to mention my Tandy 1000 TL in the original post. Of course, my next door neighbor said "that's not a computer, it's a piece of crap." I whole heartedly disagreed.
